3.1 Account Creation

4. Donation Terms

4.1 Donation Authorization

When you make a donation through our website, you authorize Ehsas Foundation to charge the specified amount to your chosen payment method. You represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal right to use the payment method
• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• You are at least 18 years of age
• You understand that donations are voluntary and not purchases of goods or services

4.2 Currency and Fees

• All donations are processed in Indian Rupees (INR)
• International donors are responsible for currency conversion fees
• Payment gateway fees may apply (displayed before confirmation)
• No additional processing fees are charged by Ehsas Foundation

4.3 Donation Allocation

Unless specified otherwise, donations are allocated as follows:

• General Donations: Used where most needed across all programs
• Campaign-Specific Donations: Used exclusively for the selected campaign
• Zakat Donations: Used strictly for Zakat-eligible beneficiaries
• Corpus Donations: Added to the organization's corpus fund

4.4 Refund and Cancellation Policy

Eligible Refund Scenarios:

• Duplicate Transactions: Full refund will be processed within 15 working days
• Technical Errors: If charged incorrectly, the excess amount will be refunded
• Fraudulent Transactions: Subject to investigation and bank confirmation

Refund Process:

1. Email refund request to donations@ehsaasfoundation.org within 7 days of donation
2. Include transaction ID, date, amount, and reason for refund
3. Provide any supporting documentation
4. Refunds processed within 15 working days of approval
5. Refund will be credited to the original payment method

4.5 80G Tax Exemption Certificate

Ehsas Foundation is registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Key terms:

• 50% tax exemption is available on donations (subject to IT rules)
• PAN card is mandatory for 80G certificate
• Certificate is issued for donations of ₹500 and above
• Certificate will be emailed within 7-10 working days
• Lost certificates can be requested up to 3 years after donation
• E-copies are valid for tax filing purposes

4.6 FCRA Donations (Foreign Contributions)

For donations from outside India:

• All foreign donations are governed by FCRA regulations
• Donor details must match passport/foreign ID
• Foreign currency conversions are at prevailing exchange rates
• FCRA receipts are issued within 30 days
• Donations above specified limits may require additional declarations

5. Recurring Donations

5.1 Authorization

By setting up a recurring donation, you authorize Ehsas Foundation to:

• Charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis
• Store your payment information securely (tokenized)
• Send reminders before each charge (optional)

5.2 Modification and Cancellation

Recurring donations can be modified or cancelled:

• Online: Through your account dashboard

Cancellations must be received at least 5 business days before the next billing date.

5.3 Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails:

• We will notify you via email and SMS
• Up to 3 retry attempts will be made over 7 days
• If all attempts fail, the recurring donation will be cancelled
• You can restart anytime by setting up a new recurring donation

6. Website Usage

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Interfere with website functionality
• Scrape or copy content without permission
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems

6.2 Intellectual Property

• Videos and audio content
• Software and code
• Design and layout
